Savannah + Jacob | Married <3
Savannah and Jacob were anything but traditional when it came to their wedding. They had a small intimate wedding with their family and Jacob then surprised Savannah with a photoshoot the following Sunday. SO this is how it went.
I shot Savannah and Jacob’s Engagement photos back in May and we instantly clicked. They are such a fun couple, like legit up for anything and the love they have for one another is undeniable.
FAST-FORWARD TO SEPTEMBER
Jacob reached out and let me know that he wanted to surprise Savannah with a (wedding photo shoot). So we started to plan. I sent over some locations he may have been interested in and he chose Walker Ranch Historic Park. He said “I saw one of the bridge shots and thought about all the ‘bridges’ Savannah and I have crosses over the passed 4 years’
IM LIKE BAWLING AT THIS POINT lol
So we set the location, time and date.
We decided, what kind of “wedding” photo shoot would it be if Savannah didn’t have a bouquet. So we sent some inso photos to The Flower Guy & let him work his magic. I went to pick the bouquet up the Saturday before the shoot and OMG, I was shocked with how beautiful it was. Like seriously, it was PERFECT for Savannah.
When they showed up for the shoot, Savannah had no idea what was going on, it was 7:30am and she was driven to some random park in San Antonio. She saw me and was like “no way!” lol It was seriously the best morning. The weather was perfect & the light was so welcoming, it was like good ole Mother Nature new it was a special day.
We shot for about an hour & chit chatted for another one all while I took some photos of their details. Getting to be a part of their love story is seriously such a joy. I love couples like Savannah and Jacob. They’re perfectly themselves and have the best intentions for the world.
This session was a huge reassurance that the best photos come from when my clients trust me wholeheartedly and allow me to take a peak at their relationship. It’s then, that was are able to capture their love for one another in the best ways.
