Hey there
I’M MARTINA
PHOTOGRAPHER, LIGHT CHASER, LOVER OF ALL THINGS COLORFUL
There is just something about freezing time and memories that fuel me at my core. Photography has always been an interest of mine from a very early age. I’d catch myself gazing at photos found on friends and families refrigerators for hours as a kid. The nostalgia that pairs with looking at and taking photos has always intrigued me & I find it, in its own sense, romantic.
As you can tell from the website, I love all things bright, colorful & full of energy. So those are a few things that drive my way of photographing. My photography also consists of fun compositions & lighting. Capturing moments to me is one of the most important aspects of life, and I make it my mission to do it at the highest quality and with as much care as if your memories and milestones are my very own. Your relationships and experiences are NOTHING like anyone else’s, so why should your photos be?
MY BEST FRIEND
EDUCATION
I graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelors degree in Fine Art with a concentration in Photography & a minor in business in 2019, but I’ve been shooting weddings and portraits for about 11 years now.
My partner in crime and in life. Philip is my favorite person in the whole world. He’s not only my teammate, but my cheerleader when I need it. He’s a constant source of encouragement and good vibes. I’m one lucky, LUCKY, girl.
SOUTH TEXAS NATIVE
I’m from a tiny town called Charlotte. It’s run mostly by agriculture and oil. Growing up, photography as a career was a pipe dream & I was always told “You should get a real job. You wont be able to make a living taking pictures.” Fast forward 15+ years later… I’M DOING IT.
If adventure is out there, so am I. I love to travel and try new things. I love when I get to do anything for the first time. I’m always up for a new location, experience, and food…

CANCER SURVIVOR
In 2023, at the age of 29, I was diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative breast cancer. I underwent 5 months of chemo, a bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction surgery. I am currently in remission and very much getting back to my normal life. .
